The Bamboo Blowpipe is a ranged weapon which was added in Animal Husbandry update V.2.3.0.

Basic Info

The bamboo blowpipe is a long narrow tube used for shooting small projectiles such as poison darts. To aim press the left mouse button, while holding down the Left shift key to steady the aim. Once the player has their target in sight press right mouse button to blow a dart.

The blowpipe can be used to either kill animals or put them to sleep. The poison darts themselves have very little effect when used against natives, due to the natives themselves being partially immune to it.

The crafting recipe for the blowpipe can be learned by picking up a long bamboo stick.
