The Bow is a tool and ranged weapon which was added in update V.0.1 to Green Hell.

Basic Info

The bow can be used to shoot Natives and Animals including flying birds and underwater fish. In order to use the bow, the player must have Arrows as ammunition. It is possible to retrieve and reuse arrows.

The skill associated with using a bow is Archery. The player must hold and aim the bow before firing and the bow sways naturally while the player is aiming. Leveling the archery skill does not decrease the amount of sway, but does decrease the time required to fire an arrow and damage it deals.

All bows require the same amount of stamina to shoot an arrow and same amount of damage. If the arrow strikes an animal or Native in the head, it will instantly kill the target. The Bamboo Bow is slightly lighter than the regular bow.
