Basic Info
The centipede lives on the forest floor and likes to hide on items that are placed or dropped on the floor. The player will only be able to find the centipede when picking large items up from the forest floor.
Picking up items such as logs or palm leaves, the player will be alerted to the presence of the centipede by its loud scratching noise. The player should immediately drop what they are holding by pressing Q
and step backwards. While dropping held items, the player will also see the centipede fall to the ground. Once on the ground, the centipede can be killed using a weapon such as a spear. Should the player fail to kill the centipede, it will run and burrow into the ground.
If the player fails to drop the items carried, they will be able to see the centipede crawl across the items they are holding and wrap around their arm. The centipede will then bite the player causing a venom wound and fever. Once the player is bitten, the centipede will fall to the ground.
