Basic Info

Charcoal has several uses. They can be used as fuel to increase the lifespan of lit fires. It is also the only source of fuel that can be used in the mud forge. As a building material it is used when constructing water filters. When harvested, it produces ash.

Charcoal can also be eaten by the player as a cure for food poisoning with a small sanity penalty.

How to obtain

Charcoal is a material that can be gathered from burnt out campfires and small fires. The mud charcoal furnace produces a substantially large amount of charcoal compared to the standard fires.
