The Clay Bottle is a tool which was added in update V.2.2.0 to Green Hell.
Basic Info[]
The Clay Bottle is a crafted pottery container that can hold up to 100 units of liquid, such as water. It can be used to collect dirty water from rivers and ponds. The clay bottle can also be used to collect from coconut half shells, tortoise shells, small clay bowls (baked or unbaked), and big clay bowls (baked or unbaked).
The player can drink straight from the clay bottle and will consume all of its contents depending on how low the player's thirst meter is. In order to sip a smaller unit of liquid, the player will need to pour liquid from the clay bottle into a smaller vessel such as the coconut half shell.
Note: The blueprint for the Clay Bottle is not unlocked until you make a coconut bidon. Once unlocked, they can be crafted at a pottery table.
Transporting Soup[]
Unfortunately, this feature was discontinued by the "Storage and transportation Update" released on August 28th, 2023.
The clay bottle can also be used to carry soup. However, soup cannot be scooped by the bottle in the same way that water is. Instead, the player must pour the soup into the bottle.
- The player must have a shell, pot, or other container filled with fully-cooked soup. For example, a bowl of bone infusion soup.
- Drop the empty clay bottle on the ground, near the soup bowl.
- Open the inventory. This will make it possible to pick up the soup bowl like a crafted item.
- Pick up the soup bowl. This will automatically flip the inventory open to the backpack interior instead of the food pouch, which is why the empty bottle must be dropped in advance.
- An indicator should appear, allowing the player to pour soup into the empty bottle. Up to 100 units of soup from multiple containers can be poured into the bottle, but the type of soup may not conflict.
