The Peccary is a species of passive animal in Green Hell.
Basic Info[]
The peccary is a medium sized animal, with a strong resemblance to a pig. They have black hair with a lighter colored collar circling the shoulders. Peccary will make a distinctive sound when the player is close proximity and will flee when approached.
They can usually be found living in pairs, in areas with high vegetation. Peccary can be hunted by using a spear or caught using traps such as the Killer Trap and Snare Trap.
Once dead, the peccary can be harvested for three raw peccary meat and four bones. Peccary meat can be cooked on a fire, smoked, stewed, or dried and eaten. The bones can be used to make weapons or bone needle.

To pick harvest the peccary once it has been killed, press E
then you are looking at the animal. The amount of bone/meat you get depends on your Harvesting skill.
