Crafting is a gameplay feature where new items can be created by combining crafting materials.
To craft an item, open your Inventory by pressing Tab, then select the crafting icon from the menu on the right. A rock that is covered in cloth will appear to the in the middle of the screen. Select the items on the left from your backpack and drag then onto the rock using your mouse. Once all the required materials have been placed you will see a button appear to craft the item.
Another way to craft is by pressing C and selecting the crafting icon from the menu wheel.
For larger items that cannot be placed in your backpack, use Right Mouse Button while the item is on the ground and select crafting from the drop down menu.
