Food Ration is a consumable food item, added during the spirits of Amazonia part one update V.2.0.1.

Basic Info

The food ration is a large portion of food wrapped in a banana leaf, which has been made by the tribal people. The exact contents is unknown. It is high in fats and has a long life span of eight days and eight hours.

They can be found in a number of locations, either buried in mounds, hanging from trees or hanging from cave openings. It can be assumed that the tribes leave these food rations hidden around the rain forest in case of emergency. Tribal hunters or gathers could have possibly used these food rations should they become injured or stranded as a means of survival.

If the player finds food ration that has been hung up high, they can knock it down by pressing G to throw a stone. Throwing held weapons or tools is also just as effective.

After saving a tribesman a Food Ration can be found next to the Mu'agi elder in the SoA game mode. It is considered as a gift of gratitude from the tribesman you saved.
