The Mouse is a species of passive animal in Green Hell.
Basic Info[]
Mice can be killed with one hit by most weapons and throwing stones. They can also be caught using a Stone Trap or a Cage Trap. The mouse can be harvested for 1 raw Mouse Meat . The meat then can be cooked, smoked or dried and eaten.
Once dead, the mouse body weights 0.8 kg and can be carried in the backpack. Until the meat is harvested, the body does not decompose or spoil.
Description[]
The mouse is a small rodent characteristically having a pointed snout, small rounded ears, a body-length scaly tail, and a high breeding rate. Certain kinds of field mice are locally common. In nature, mice are largely herbivores consuming any kind of fruit or grain from plants. Mice are a staple in the diet of many small carnivores.
Mice can be found throughout the rainforest and in caves as well as in places where humans generally settled such as camps. They are small in size and can be hard to spot as their gray coloring tends to blend into the environment when they are not moving. When the player is in close proximity to a mouse they will flee out of range of the player and make high-pitched squeaking noises.
