Basic Information[]

The photo of the village is changed.

A village where the Mu'agi tribe lives in the Spirits of Amazonia Game Mode. When the player arrives at the village, only the village Elder will be present.

Description[]

The Mu'gai Village is located in the heart of the forest.

At the camp there is a Campfire which provides four nodes to cook food on. The campfire is very wide, so the player should take care not to accidentally step into the flames when reaching across for food.

A meat dryer is within the center of the camp, with seven nodes to dry food on. Approaching the structure will unlock the dryer and bamboo dryer blueprints.

Inside the fence on the south side of camp, there are logs that frequently house various types of mushrooms and two Banana Plants. On the west side of the camp there is a Ayahuasca ritual bowl next to a Brazil Nut Tree, which grows Banisteriopsis Vine, Liana, Indigo Blue Leptonia mushrooms, and occasionally drops Brazil Nuts.

While within the fenced boundary of the camp, the player cannot use weapons or tools to harvest plants or structures.

Story[]

The village elder will explain that he saved the player's life so that they may in turn help the village, which has been attacked by the Waraha Tribe.

To gain the trust of the village, the player can heal injured hunters, find and return tribal children, rescue kidnapped tribal women, destroy Warahara camps on the first map, learn local legends (Cursed Water, Howling Spirit, White Demon, and The Craftsman), and free the spirits of dead tribespeople. Once the player achieves 800 points of trust with the village, a new dialog option will be available from the elder for the next step of the story.

As more tribespeople are saved, the village people will return to life in the village. After saving a tribesman a Food Ration can be found in the bowl next to the Mu'agi elder as a gift of gratitude for saving them.

Trivia[]

  • In survival mode if the player attempts to go to these coordinates, the village will not be present but rather a very wide empty space with only a Dryer in it, making it a very suitable place for a base.
  • While more than one fire may be present at the village, the player can only cook on the main fire.
  • The Mu'gai Tribe is one of the lost tribes mentioned on the Yabahuaca Notebook Page.
  • It is sometimes possible to save the same child more than once. In that case, when the player arrives at the village with the same child for the second time, the first instance of the child will have vanished, meaning the player is saving the same child who managed to run away again.
  • If the player has rescued tribespeople before speaking to the elder, they will be present in the village when the player first arrives. However, the player will still ask the elder why the village is empty.
