The Mud Roof With Notch is a Custom Building Attachment added in the Expanded Shelters Update V.1.3.0

Basic Info[]

The mud roof with notch allows the player to access the next floor when constructing multistory buildings. To climb to the next level the player will need to place a ladder within the notch once the roof has been constructed.

To build a mud roof with notch the player will first need to build a modular frame structure, consisting of either of bamboo or wood. Once the frame has been completed the player can then add the roof. Select the mud roof with notch from the notebook and place the blueprint over the modular frame. Pressing the Right Mouse Button the player can rotate the roof in to a suitable position. Pressing the Left Mouse Button will start construction.

Once the mud roof with notch is completed the player can then add a ladder to gain access to the area above, or it could also be used as a skylight, placing water collectors or small planting boxes under the notch.
