The Red Crab is a species of passive animal in Green Hell added during the Water Update V.0.3.0.

Basic Info

The red crab can be found along the banks of shallow rivers. When approached by the player they will scuttle off at a fairly slow pace. they can be killed by simply catching up to them and stabbing them with a spear. though they can be quite hard to hit.

The red crab can be cooked, smoked, or used to make soup. However it can not be dried.

Harvest

Red crabs cannot be harvested, but if left to spoil they can be harvested for maggots.
