The Red Footed Tortoise is a species of passive animal in Green Hell added in the animal update V.0.2.0

Basic Info

The Red Footed Tortoise is a medium sized animal. They have a dark colored shell with lighter markings in the middle of each scute. The Red Footed Tortoise can be found near river beds close to the forest edge. They are very slow in movement which makes them very easy to kill.

The Red Footed Tortoise can be killed with one hit by most weapons. Once killed, the Red Footed Tortoise can be harvested for one Turtle Meat and one Turtle Shell which can be used to collect rain water or used to cook soups and brews.

To harvest the Red Footed Tortoise once it has been killed, press E while you are looking at the animal.
