The Scarlet Macaw is a species of Passive animal in Green Hell. When placed in the backpack it is described as a Parrot (Body) and weighs 2.2 kg.

Basic Info

Scarlet Macaws are brightly colored birds which can be seen flying around the jungle canopy. They will squawk loudly when the player is near proximity.

Occasionally Scarlet Macaws can be seen landing on rocks and fallen trees. Using a ranged weapon such as the bow and arrow or by throwing stones, the player can kill the scarlet macaw while it is resting. Walking too close to the scarlet macaw while it is perched will cause it to fly away.

Dead Scarlet Macaws can often be found on the rainforest floor, these can also be harvest for meat and feathers.
