Abrasion
Basic Info[]
Scratches and abrasions are flesh wounds, similar to Lacerations but not as severe.
Causes[]
Scratches and abrasions are commonly caused by a fall from height.
The player can sometimes receive scratches and abrasions while in combat or being attacked by natives. They will also occur when the player accidentally steps on a fire.
Treatment[]
The player will need to inspect their body to find the location.
- Applying a Leaf Bandage will stop the bleeding, however, infection may still occur, this is less likely compared to a more severe laceration.
- Using a bandage with disinfecting properties such as Honey Dressing and Ash Dressing will prevent infection, but the wound will heal slowly.
