The smartwatch is first introduced to the player during the tutorial, it was added to green hell in V.0.1.
Gameplay[]
The Watch or Smart Watch is the latest in technology and features a solar powered battery, meaning it will never run out of power. It serves three functions. To switch between each function press and hold the F button to display the watch, then scroll using the mouse wheel button to display each mode.
Clock[]
Date and Time
Displays the time, date, day and month. Allows the player to keep track of time, which comes very handy to help avoid roaming too far from camp before dark. This function also allows the player to predict when they will experience wet and dry seasons by watching closely the days and months which they occur.
GPS Compass[]
GPS Compass
Although the sun rises in the East and sets in the West in Green Hell, losing sense of direction while traveling through the rainforest is easily done. The player will find the GPS compass is an invaluable function. Not only does it provides directional indicators but it shows also shows the players coordinates. By watching the coordinates the player can navigate around the map.
Macroelement Scanner[]
Macroelements
The macroelement scanner indicates the player's nutritional needs. It displays the players current level of protein, carbohydrates, fats, and hydration. These levels will affect gameplay, making this the most important function of the smart watch. To maintain stamina, health and avoid fatigue the player must watch these levels carefully.
