Spear Fishing

Spearfishing is a leveling system added V.0.1 in Green Hell.

Basic Info

The spearfishing skill is increased by catching fish with a spear. The spearfishing skill increases attack speed and reduces aiming time.

How to Spearfish

• The player first needs to equip themselves with a spear. The four pronged spear is specially designed for spearfishing, however any other type of spear will work just as effectively.
• Find a good location. The best places to spearfish are shallow rivers and along ponds or river shore lines, where large species of fish can be seen swimming.
• Once the player has found the ideal spot, they will need to position themselves. This may mean having to slightly step into the water to get in close proximity of the fish. The fish will usually scatter if spooked, but will return a few moments later.
• When the player is in position, they will need to aim with the spear. To do this press and hold the left mouse button.
• Find and target a fish. When the fish is in the spears cross hairs, release the left mouse button to jab. If successful the player will have caught a fish on the end of their spear.
• When the fish has been caught the player can either harvest it or take it into the backpack.
