The Torch is a tool which was added in update V.0.1 to Green Hell.

Basic Info[]

The torch is very similar to the Weak Torch, however it requires wood resin to be crafted. This torch has a longer burn time than the Weak Torch and once it has extinguished it will need to be reignited.

To light the torch press E while looking at a fire to ignite it. Using the torch while it is raining will cause it to be extinguished. A lit torch can also be used to ignite fires, this can be useful when lighting multiple campfires.

Torches are mainly used to provide a source of light at night or in caves. They can also be used to prevent the player from being attacked by insects when approaching ants hills or wasp nests.

Torches can be used as a weapons to deal damage to natives.
