Venom Wound from a Rattlesnake
Basic Info[]
Venom wound is an injury caused by a bite or sting from a venomous animal or plant. The wound will have one or two puncture marks and the skin around the wound will be red and swollen.
When a venom wound is inflicted the poison icon may be displayed, showing the level of venom received. Currently, as late as V.2.4.3, the South American Rattlesnake does not always inflict a poison status, particularly if you already have a rash. A venom wound will cause the player to lose health and stamina over time. The player will usually also contract a Fever which will need to be treated separately from the venom wound.
Causes[]
Various animal stings or bites can cause a venom wound.
